Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

St. Louis Sports Talk (“we,” “us”) publishes news, schedules, scores, podcasts, and videos about the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and St. Louis City SC. This page explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

If you don't sign in

You can use the entire site — read news, check schedules and scores, reorder sections and columns, switch between light and dark mode — without creating an account or giving us any information. Those preferences are saved only in your browser’s local storage, on your device. We don’t set any cookies and don’t know who you are.

If you sign in with Google

Signing in is optional, and exists for one reason: to save your section order, column order, and theme preference to your account so they follow you to another browser or device, instead of being stuck on just one.

When you sign in, Google shares your name, email address, profile picture, and a unique account identifier with us. We store:

  • That profile information, to know who you are and show your name when you’re signed in.
  • Your section/column order and theme preference, tied to your account.
  • A session cookie that keeps you signed in — it’s just a reference to your session, not your Google password (we never see or store that).

We don’t use this to advertise to you, sell it, or share it with anyone else. You can sign out at any time; to have your account and saved preferences deleted entirely, email info@sportsontv.now.

Forms you submit

If you suggest a feed or submit a sponsorship inquiry, we store what you enter (e.g. name, email, company, message, or the feed URL and note) so we can review or follow up on it. We don’t use it for anything else.

Technical information

Like most websites, our server briefly processes standard technical data on every request — your IP address, browser type, and similar — mainly to prevent spam/abuse on public forms (e.g. limiting how many submissions one IP can make per hour). This isn’t tied to your identity and isn’t kept as a permanent record of your visits.

Third parties

We rely on a few outside services to run the site:

  • Google Sign-In — handles authentication if you choose to sign in. See Google’s privacy policy.
  • ESPN, YouTube, Bluesky, Reddit, and podcast RSS feeds — public content (schedules, scores, videos, posts, episodes) is fetched by our server to display on the site. None of your information is sent to them.
  • Advertising and analytics — we may display ads or run analytics scripts from third-party providers. These providers may set their own cookies or collect data according to their own privacy policies, which we don’t control.

Children

This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.
